Our commitment
Everyone should be able to read about their skin health. This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Body text is at least 18 px, with generous line spacing and strong color contrast
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to main content" link
- Headings, landmarks and labels are structured for screen readers
- Animation is gentle and switches off if your device is set to reduce motion
- Illustrations that carry meaning have text descriptions, and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers
- Pages reflow on small screens without sideways scrolling
Known limitations
Some linked external sites, such as journal pages and guideline PDFs, may not meet the same standard. We can help you find an accessible version.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on this site is hard to use, please email [email protected] and describe the page and the problem. We'll do our best to fix it and to give you the information in another way in the meantime.
