Not medical advice
Articles, FAQs, condition guides and service descriptions on this site are for general education. They don't replace an examination by a qualified clinician who knows your history.
No doctor–patient relationship
Reading this site, or contacting the office through it, doesn't create a doctor–patient relationship. That begins only when you are seen as a patient.
Skin changes need a real look
No website, app or photo can tell you whether a spot is skin cancer. Only an examination and, when needed, a biopsy can. If a spot is new, changing, bleeding or not healing, book a visit.
Medicines and treatment decisions
Don't start, stop or change a medicine based on this website. Some dermatology medicines need monitoring, and some, like isotretinoin, have strict safety programs.
Cosmetic results vary
This site doesn't show before-and-after photos or promise results. Cosmetic treatments carry real risks, described on the relevant pages, and outcomes differ between people and skin types.
Emergencies
If you think you're having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. After a filler injection, vision changes or skin that turns white, gray or blue need emergency care.
